We had our first group ride yesterday! There were two of us in attendance and, after some quick bike checks and a test ride down Wellston Trail, we rode around the future downtown area of Warner Robins. We stopped by Z Beans Coffee on Armed Forces Boulevard for coffee and a scone along the way.
Our group rides are on the first and third Saturday morning of every month at 10 AM and are open to all ages and abilities. For more about our upcoming events, check out our Events page.
Speaking of future events, Visit Warner Robins is putting on a bicycling and motorcycle event on May 18th. We’re helping to arrange a route for a group ride for that event, so we put together a quick video of the proposed route using Google Earth:
Mark your calendars for the Revved Up event on May 18th from 10 AM to 2 PM or follow the Ride Robins calendar! We’re hoping that there will be bike checks courtesy of the local bike shops, a fun and short group ride, and a bicycle safety presentation courtesy of Georgia Bikes.
