A quick primer on “Urbanist YouTube.”

Hi once again! I’d like to share two of the videos that inspired us to get into bicycle and micromobility advocacy here at Ride Robins.

Each video is a little under 20 minutes long.

The first is a fairly typical NotJustBikes video, which describes some of the current issues with auto-centric infrastructure in the United States and compares it with infrastructure in the Netherlands that is designed to be safer for pedestrians, cylists, and automobiles.

A NotJustBikes video describing “stroads.”

The second video is one from StrongTowns, describing how to get involved with your local community. I found this one particularly inspiring and perhaps you will, too!

A StrongTowns video encouraging folks to participate in their local communities.

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading. 🙂

I love NotJustBikes’ videos a lot! There’s no reason we cant ALL coexist in the vast world of transportation.
